Meet Tom
Let me introduce you to Tom, he is as much an institution here at Handyman’s hardware as he is in the community. To most of our customers he is known as the Plumbing Whisperer. Hand Tom a cartridge from a 40-year-old Gerber faucet, he will walk you right to it's replacement in a sea of plumbing parts.
But let’s talk a little about Tom’s origins first. Born in Central Minnesota Tom is a graduate of Cathedral High School, and he lives west of St. Cloud on Interstate 94 with his wife Kathy. Ask Tom about flea markets and settle in for a interesting conversation on what Tom may have found at the last market he attended. It's the hunt for the unexpected that drives him.
At Handyman's Tom oversees our vast plumbing department. From parts to fix a dripping bathroom faucet to parts that help keep the heat on in large apartment buildings, Tom can most likely assist you. Along with his responsibilities as our plumbing expert, Tom is also the person that will repair your window screens. Bring in a screen from a bedroom window or a patio door, Tom can repair nearly any screen or build you a new frame. Though Tom would never admit it, I am fairly sure Tom has a photographic memory, that makes him wicked good at what he does. Come in and meet Tom, he looks forward to meeting you.
